A guide to growing "hardy tropicals" in southern Ontario, Canada.

Just a few pictures taken around the garden today. The hardy cacti and broad-leaved evergreens are looking great. The plant I'm most curious about (Agave paryii) is buried under snow. I thought I should leave it that way.
There are gardeners in zn 6 Canada who want to try plants that common sense tells you should not grow here. Surprisingly many of them do. This blog looks at many exotic plants that do survive our winters, as well as some that don't.
